A couple of notes
The website has moved to http://dragontattoo.blogspot.com. So please change your bookmarks and listings.
Second, I would like to respond to N^T^A's comment on my post of the Boston Tattoo Convention last September.
I would like to begin by apologizing if I have offended you. First, the posting was all in fun and I feel that the contests at the convention are also all in fun. I never expected to win in the first place and I entered it just to do it. I hope that people don't take themselves so seriously that they cannot enjoy a contest or your convention.
Second, I did not mean to make the post appear as though I was really burning the convention. Rather, this was my perception of the contests and it was the perception of many others that I spoke with that participated in the contests. This is especially glaring when you walk by the table of the sponsoring shops and it's shown with many trophies they have won from their own convention. Don't get me wrong, I don't take anything away from any of the artists from those shops. They do fantastic work, all are talented, and all deserve to win the trophies they did. Personally, I love my tattoo and I could really care less what others think. If Phuc though this was the worst tattoo he had ever done, I would still love it. Trust me, not winning was not a big deal.
Again, I hope you do not take offense to my post. It was all in fun and you put on a great convention that I plan on returning to next year if I am around. It's a great promotional tool for the tattoo community in the great Northeast. The contests are fun, but please don't take yourself so seriously. It's all about having fun, meeting new people, and seeing some great art. All of which I did the past couple of years when I have attended your convention.
